Summer Picnic in the Park
Posted by Anon, July 5, 2015. Updated August 27, 2015.
In recent years, the Lunch Bunch AA Group has hosted a late Summer Picnic at the Martinez Waterfront Park. It's our chance to do something a little different and have some fun. They have been tremendously successful, and many of us would like to do it again this year. However, it does require some committed volunteers. If approved, the cost is taken from our general funds; we can spend as much or as little as we choose.
Past events have been an "Optional Pot Luck". Guests are asked to bring their favourite prepared dish, or drinks or snacks if they can. Some items are provided by the group. All AA members are invited, along with their families and friends (children and pets too).
Look out for a volunteer sign-up sheet at the meetings during the late summer, or you can sign up here, indicating your volunteer preferences.

Our former treasurer is stepping down after 2 years and 9 months of dedicated service. We're all very grateful for the service and duty well performed. Thank you.
Our new treasurer's momination was accepted and confirmed in the July business meeting. Again we are grateful to all of our service volunteers.

This Website is Ready to Launch
Posted by Anon, June 16, 2015
This website project was revisited and revitalized this week because of its potential to increase coordination and perhaps improve communication between the individual "day-of-the-week" meetings as well as the collective soul of teh whole group.
But the foremost aim of this web site is no different from all of our group efforts and activities. Its primary purpose is to carry the A.A. message to the alcoholic who still suffers.
